Let’s talk about some of the best white sneakers for spring that I have spotted so far this year. White sneakers are the perfect choice of spring footwear but something I actively avoid wearing in winter because they are so hard to keep clean. However when the weather starts to change I feel that I need to bring them out of the closet as they go with everything.

White sneakers are a wardrobe staple for casual days out and can be worn with everything from jeans to dresses plus they look great in the gym which means they are my go to color when it comes to comfy footwear. My next choice are these hugely popular Veja sneakers which have a great clean, minimalist design as well as a strong ethical story which makes them stylish and socially relevant.

Veja has built its reputation around sustainability and these sneakers use eco-friendly materials which is perfect for people who want their shoe wardrobe to reflect their values as well as their style.

Again they have a low-profile look and balance proportions and uncluttered detailing. What I love most about them is that they work brilliantly with smart-casual dresses which not every sneaker is able to pull off.

The only downside for me is that they are not made from leather but you can’t have everything.

Finally I had to add a pair of designer sneakers for those of you who love luxe brands in your wardrobe. Whilst the world is full of performance driven trainers it is always great to have a pair of stylish upmarket trainers for your city strolls and lunches.

These have that great extra detailing that you get from a more expensive brand that lifts them from the ordinary to something more special.

Of course at the higher price point you get leather which helps with breathability and superior craftmanship meaning these sneakers should last longer making the cost per wear more acceptable.

I have to say I’m a huge fan of the Veja’s as they hit that middle ground of not being so trendy that they will date and comfortable enough to wear all day. What design would you choose?
