Classic Heeled Clogs
The Drop Women’s Francine Clog
I’m amazed at how many studded clog variations there are out there at the moment which means you are spoiled for choice.
I am a big lover of the classic clog style and this retro looking platform pair from The Drop is making me want to reach for my credit card.
The platform style is a great look to wear with jeans or long dresses and skirts and these measure in at over 3 inches high.
The thing that stood out for me with these apart from the design was the amazing padded footbed making them a much more comfortable fit. Hard clog bases can be unforgiving on the feet so it’s good to see that the new designs are taking into account that they need to be wearable.
All in all this is a classic design that will be a great wardrobe staple.
Buying Studded Clogs With a Buckle
Madden Girl Women’s Ppepper Clog
If you love Birkenstocks then you are going to love this next pair of clogs by Madden Girl.
These have all the look of a Birkenstock but are a little more edgy because of the buckle and studs.
Flat clogs are going to be much more wearable and comfortable for daytime walking which is why I like these.
These also have a cushioned base so they have that comfort but they aren’t water resistant. This shouldn’t be a problem as open back clogs aren’t really the footwear for wet weather anyway. Just make sure that you don’t wear these out in any substantial rain.
Studded Clogs With a Strap are Easier To Keep on Your Feet
Frye Footwear Women’s Jessica Slingback Clog
Whilst clogs are very fashionable they aren’t for everyone especially if you are one of thoese people who finds they simply can’t keep them on your feet when you are walking.
A great way to solve this clog dilemma is to buy some with an ankle strap that helps with walking and stability.
These have a leather outsole with a sueded look and that all important adjustable buckle to help make them easier to walk in. As they are heeled having as much stability as possible whilst you walk can make all the difference.
Leather Studded Clogs With Embelishments
Sam Edelman Women’s Kaye Clog
Personally I love to wear leather footwear and these Sam Edelman clogs fit the bill. Leather is naturally better at dealing with wetter conditions plus it can breathe which means your feet are less likely to smell or feel sweaty whilst you are wearing them.
These low heel Kaye Clogs are cute as they are a happy medium between the higher platform styles and flats.
I chose these to show you that studded clogs don’t have to be black. There are plenty of designs out there using other different colors that work so well. Plus the extra embellishment across the front adds interest without being too bling.
It’s worth mentioning that these slip on clogs also have extra cushioning on the footbed which is perfect if you want to wear them for long periods during the day.
Orthopedic Clogs For Problem Feet
Women’s Suede Clogs with Arch Support
Finally if you have problem feet I’ve got you covered with these great orthopedic clogs.
As I mentioned earlier clogs aren’t for everyone especially if they don’t have cushioning and support inside. Years ago I used to wear Scholl clogs (which are also having a come back) and despite the support I felt I was walking around on concrete.
These orthopedic clogs however have a specially designed ergonomic footbed, arch support and a much more comfortable inside to help make them more wearable.
The cork footbed is similar looking to Birkenstock sandals and the buckle helps you to adjust them for a better fit. Choose this style of clogs if your feet need a little extra help and you will have the perfect shoes for Fall.
